Jean Duffy Rath, PT, Dip MDT
President, CEO and Direction of Prevention Services for Duffy-Rath Physical Therapy, P.C.

Jean graduated from the Physical Therapy Program at the University of Pittsburgh in 1979. She started her career as a staff therapist at Montefiore Medical Center, Pittsburgh and then for Allied Medical Services, Scranton, PA. She went into private practice with Wayne in 1984, co-founding the Spine Center of New Jersey (Somerville). In 1992 she was co-founder of Summit Physical Therapy in Syracuse, NY and then Duffy-Rath Physical Therapy in 2001 in Manlius, NY.

Jean’s current position is President, CEO and Direction of Prevention Services for Duffy-Rath Physical Therapy, P.C.

Jean and Wayne are the sole owners of DRPT providing physical therapy diagnostic, treatment and consultative services for patients, musculoskeletal injury prevention throughout Central New York and across the country, health and wellness management services and continuing education workshops for licensed clinical and rehabilitation professionals.

Jean has provided executive administration and oversight of the Duffy-Rath prevention programs since the inception. Services have been individualized for a wide range of industries, ranging from office work to heavy manufacturing and construction. She has been the driving force behind the development and success of these programs. The Duffy-Rath System© is currently provided at multiple locations for Carrier Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Huthamaki Corporation, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Crouse Hospital, McQuay International, Babbitt Bearings Inc. and others. Jean is the executive administrator for these programs and the demand for this service continues growing by ‘word-of-mouth’ based upon objective success.
